Castle Street Methodist Church is compact and friendly, set in the lovely market town of Abergavenny on the Welsh borders. Our worship includes a mix of traditional and contemporary styles. We average fifty to sixty adults and have a small group of children.

On Tuesday morning, we serve light refreshments from 10.30am-12 noon. There is also a Bible Study that day which takes place in the church at noon. For senior citizens, there is a Friendship Club on Thursday afternoons at 2.30pm and for the young people, Friday Club every other Friday evening.

The church is frequently in use throughout the week by various groups – a chapter of the Abergavenny Women's Institute meets on the first Tuesday afternoon of every month, an exercise class meets twice a week, not to mention various groups and choirs that hold their meetings and concerts in our hall and sanctuary.

All in all, a busy friendly church.
