Methodist Church in Great Britain | Wales Synod Cymru
Beaufort Hill

We have recently joined with Wesley Place (Bethel) Methodist Church to form Beaufort Methodist Church, a fellowship under one trustee body, with two worship sites. You are warmly welcomed to join us at the Beaufort (Bethel) site for morning worship at 11am, or at the Beaufort (Zion) site for evening worship at 5pm.

The Beaufort (Zion) site, formerly Beaufort Hill Methodist Church has a long history. The church opened in 1849 – the cost of the building was £132! In 1909, electricity was installed. A brick schoolroom was built in 1927 at a cost of £600. Renewal and refurbishment began in 1980, culminating in the purchase of upholstered chairs in 1998

Formerly part of the Ebbw Vale and Tredegar Circuit, we now continue our long tradition of service to the people of Beaufort within the Gwent Hills and Vales Circuit.
