Methodist Circuit

We gather for worship every Sunday at 10.30am. There is an ecumenical communion service every Tuesday morning at 10am and the Friday Ecumenical Bible Study from 12 – 1.30pm every fortnight. All will find a warm and friendly welcome here.

On his way to the wedding of his brother Charles, the Revd John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, preached at Bedwas, as he wrote in his Journal, 'Wet and weary as I was, and we rejoiced in all our labours' (3rd April, 1749). Already an Armenian Society existed in the community and the people called Methodists have continued to work and witness and worship in Bedwas ever since.
